Lights&Shadows (Luci&Ombre)
Another edition of the Luci e Ombre show took place at Teatro Sociale in Brescia.
This edition provided once more the opportunity of reflecting on the suffering that may affect women and families during the perinatal period and the stigma that continues to surround it. Each movement and melody contributed to a powerful representation of vulnerability, strength, and connection.

HappyMums Consortium Meeting
The fourth HappyMums Consortium Meeting was held on September 21st–22nd in the beautiful city of Catania. The event brought together all the partners to review the project’s progress and strengthen collaboration within and outside the consortium.

HappyMums-HappyRun
The third edition of the HappyMums HappyRun took place on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, in the heart of the Park of Monza (Italy), one of the largest and most renowned parks in Europe. As in previous years, the event was organized in collaboration with DKRACE, a prestigious running event that brings together both professional athletes and amateur runners.

Another successful edition of the show Luci e Ombre was held at the Public Theatre in Treviglio. The performance undelined once again the complexity and extreme relevance of mental illness and the stigma that often surrounds it, with particular attention to challenges arising during the perinatal period.

Virtual Consortium Meeting
On February 11 2025, the HappyMums consortium met online to share the latest research results and define the next steps ahead. Also new ideas for joint initiatives and collaborations were discussed and put into motion.

Lights&Shadows (Luci&Ombre)
The third edition of the show, held at Teatro Nazionale in Milan, in co-localization with the ECNP congress, focused on the complex topic of mental illness and associated stigma, especially around the perinatal period.
Dance and music drove the audience into a journey displaying feelings and challenges experienced by women and families experiencing emotional and behavioural dysregulations.
The show also underlined the importance of dance, music, physical activity and social support as strategies to strengthen our resilience.
Monza, 5 May 2024
HappyMums-HappyRun
The second HappyMums HappyRun took place on May 5th, 2024, once again in the beautiful Park of Monza, alongside the well-known DKRACE event. At the HappyMums stand, visitors could pick up project gadgets and information on perinatal mental health, as well as talk directly with researchers to learn more and ask questions.
Barcelona, 21-22 March 2024
Third Consortium Meeting
The HappyMums Consortium met on March 21st–22nd at the University of Barcelona to review progress and plan the next steps. Partners shared updates from each Work Package and worked together on the First Periodic Report covering the first 18 months of the project. The meeting also focused on upcoming tasks, potential risks, and new opportunities for collaboration within the consortium and with other initiatives.

On June 28 2023, in co-localisation with theHappyMums Consortium Meeting, at the premises of the University of Milan, the show Lights & Shadows was held.
The show, open to the public and specifically targeted to families and students, was aimed at tackling the issue of mental illness and the associated stigma, using the language of dance.

HappyMums-HappyRun
On May 14th 2023, the HappyMums Consortium decided to celebrate mothers, motherhood and maternal bonds in general, as well as their positive contributions to their families and society. Indeed the second Sunday in May is considered Mother's Day, in many countries in the world.
