On June 28 2023, in co-localisation with theHappyMums Consortium Meeting, at the premises of the University of Milan, the show Lights & Shadows was held.

The show, open to the public and specifically targeted to families and students, was aimed at tackling the issue of mental illness and the associated stigma, using the language of dance.

The focus was on “depression”, through a journey starting from the importance of scientific research to get a better understanding of how this condition can have dramatic consequences in specific key periods of life, such as pregnancy and adolescence.
Moreover, the discussion also focussed on the impact on our brain and mind of the COVID19 pandemic, which forced us to physical isolation and only virtual contacts.
The event, created by the HappyMums Coordinator, Annamaria Cattaneo, saw the participation of several experts in the field of mental health (including HappyMums partners such as Marco Andrea Riva,  Alessandra Bramante, Paola Dazzan, Carmine M. Pariante among others) and young professional  artists (dancers, musicians and singers).
