Marijana Matijaš

Marijana Matijaš, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher at Department for Psychology at the Catholic University of Croatia, where she teaches courses in methodology, statistical analyses, and work psychology. Her doctoral thesis, defended with the highest honour (summa cum laude), was about the role of career adaptability in the employability of graduates. Her research interests are  ​​career development and management, balancing work and family roles, and psychometrics. Also, she participates in projects in the field of peripartum mental health and is a co-author of several papers. She is a member of the ReMO COST Action which focuses on wellbeing and mental health within academia. As a recipient of the  British Scholarship Trust, she spent three months at Durham University Business School, UK. Moreover, she attended numerous statistical training schools, summer schools, and workshops. For years, she has been participating in popularising science by organising activities for Psychology Week and Brain Awareness Week at the Catholic University of Croatia.
