Sandra Nakić Radoš

Sandra Nakić Radoš, PhD is Associate Professor at the Department for Psychology at the Catholic University of Croatia. She is a specialist in clinical psychology, trained in CBT, and an expert in peripartum mental health. She worked at Ob/Gyn department for seven years, where she gained valuable research and professional expertise in reproductive mental health. Her PhD was on postpartum depression, and she studied post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after a traumatic birth at the University of Sussex (UK). She is the author of about 50 scientific papers, mostly on depression and anxiety during pregnancy and after childbirth and parent-infant bonding. She is the co-leader of the international COST Action Riseup-PPD on peripartum depression and is a member of the COST Action DEVOTION on birth trauma and mental health. She teaches methodology, psychometrics, and clinical psychology courses with a special emphasis on reproductive mental health. She is a member of several professional societies and co-editor of the Journal of Reproductive and Infant Psychology. She is the co-founder and president of the non-governmental organisation Centre for Reproductive Mental Health in Zagreb.
