Alessandra Bramante
Dr. Alessandra Bramante is a trained Psychologist and Psychotherapist.
She is founder and President of the Italian Branch of The Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health, an international, interdisciplinary organization dedicated to supporting research and assistance surrounding prenatal and postpartum mental health for mothers, fathers, and their babies
She graduated from the University of Turin, and then specialized in Cognitive Psychotherapy and Clinical Criminology. She later obtained the PhD in Neuroscience, Cognitive Sciences address, at the Doctoral School of the University of Turin.
From 2006 to 2016 she worked at the Centro Psiche Donna, a psychiatric center dedicated to women with psychopathology during pregnancy and postpartum.
She is currently a consultant at the Varenna clinic in Bergamo where she deals with psychotherapy in the perinatal field. Since 2014 she has been a consultant at the Bergamo ATS where she is responsible for the SalvagenteMamma prevention project, screening for postpartum depression on the general population of Bergamo and its province.
