Anna Braniecka

Anna Braniecka, PhD, has been a researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Psychology at University SWPS in Poland for 18 years and has 15 years’ experience as a clinical psychologist. Her research combines clinical studies with positive psychology by investigating psychiatric patients and vulnerability to mental disorders with regard to wellbeing, strengths and resilience. She is a founding member of the Positive Psychology Society (Poland)—involved in many campaigns aimed at improving the state of individuals with mental health problems. Together with her team, she is conducting research on vulnerability to depression and the implementation of interventions enhancing emotion regulation through positive-oriented strategies. As a member of the "HappyMums" project team, Anna Braniecka is involved in developing research methods, recruiting pregnant women at risk for depression, implementing and coordinating the project.
