Benedetta Vai, Ph.D.,  is a senior postdoctoral researcher at the Unit of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychobiology, Division of Neuroscience, IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele - Group leader: Prof. Francesco Benedetti. 

Her expertise encompasses clinical psychology, psychobiology and computational psychiatry, including multimodal neuroimaging and machine learning analyses, applied to both biological (inflammatory, genetic, and neuroimaging) and clinical data, in particular in mood disorders.

In HappyMums she will collaborate in work-packages dedicated on investigating the biological mechanisms underlying the depressive symptoms in mothers and mental health in their offsprings.
