Anna Sancho
Anna Sancho is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Aniko Korosi’s lab at the University of Amsterdam. She completed her PhD at the University of Barcelona in 2023, where she studied the effects of chronic stress on the hippocampus using a mouse model of depression.
In August 2024, she joined Dr. Korosi’s lab, which focuses on understanding how early-life adversity alters the immune system and exploring the potential of nutritional interventions to mitigate these effects. As part of the HappyMums project, her research investigates how stress during pregnancy impacts the neuroimmune system, with a particular focus on changes in the maternal brain and placenta.
