Dr. Ellen Jaspers obtained a PhD in Biomedical Sciences in 2011 at the KU Leuven (Belgium), followed by a postdoc in Neurosciences at the Neural Control of Movement Lab (NCM Lab, ETH Zurich, Switzerland). After 11 years in academia, Ellen switched to the MedTech industry as a (Senior) Product Manager, where she was responsible for a full product portfolio, ranging from product development to product launch, to lifecycle management and portfolio innovation (global). In 2022, she took on the role as an account manager in the Medical Communications industry, and offered strategic consulting to pharma clients, consisting of both commercial and medical teams (global and EMEA).

She joined the Neuroepigenetics Lab of Prof. Mansuy in 2023 as the Scientific Coordinator, where she supports the coordination of several (inter)national research projects. Her strategic thinking combined with her sound scientific competencies enable her to effectively identify priorities, communicate information in a concise and clear way tailored to different stakeholders, and to evaluate, write and edit scientific information and reports.
