ana Hermans is a PhD candidate at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Erasmus Medical Centre. She has a background in cognitive neuroscience with a specialisation in neuroimaging and psychiatry. Her PhD research focuses on how to better understand the influence of prenatal maternal depression on offspring brain development, behaviour and mental health. Her project is part of  HappyMums and she helps lead HappyMums WP4 on biological mediators and environmental moderators of offspring risk and resilience.
