Marta Jackowska
Marta Jackowska, PhD, completed her MSc and PhD degrees in health psychology at University College London in the UK, and joined SWPS University in Poland in 2021. She over 14 years’ experience of researching sleep behaviour and its links with physical and mental health including depression. She has conducted original research studies including a sleep and wellbeing randomised controlled trial, and published analyses based on large data sets including at least 4000 participants. Dr Jackowska is the PI of the “HappyMums” project at SWPS University and the main role of her team will be recruiting pregnant women with depression or at its risk to a HappyMums Clinical Study. In addition, she is currently researching sleep behaviour in adolescents as well as exploring effects of transcutaneous vagal nerve stimulation on psychological processes including affect and cognition.
